Live Event Facilitator

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to serve as a live event facilitator. As the face of our institution, this role requires exceptional communication skills, energy, and the ability to think on one's feet.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Hosting and Facilitation:

• Host various events, conferences, workshops, seminars, cultural functions, sports events, and other programs, ensuring seamless execution and engaging experiences for attendees.
• Deliver live commentary and interact with the audience to create a lively atmosphere, fostering connections and meaningful interactions.
• Introduce speakers, dignitaries, and guests, guaranteeing smooth transitions between event segments and maintaining momentum throughout the program.
• Conduct interviews, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions when required, showcasing expertise and facilitating knowledge sharing.

• Engage with the audience through interactive elements, ice-breakers, and informative segments, promoting active participation and retaining interest.
• Maintain an energetic, friendly, and professional demeanor, ensuring continuous audience engagement and a positive experience.
• Ensure all event timings are adhered to and manage transitions between segments, keeping the program on schedule while accommodating any necessary adjustments.

• Collaborate closely with the event team to comprehend the theme, objectives, and content of the event, incorporating feedback and suggestions to refine the overall experience.
• Prepare scripts, speeches, and presentations in alignment with the event's tone and message, considering the target audience and desired outcomes.
• Research relevant topics and information, providing accurate and engaging content that resonates with attendees and reinforces the institution's values.

• Work collaboratively with event coordinators, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution, addressing any concerns or challenges promptly.
• Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to improve the flow of the event, optimizing the experience for attendees and enhancing the institution's reputation.

• Represent the institution in a positive, professional, and articulate manner during public interactions, embodying the organization's values and mission.
• Communicate the institution's vision, values, and messages consistently throughout all events, reinforcing its identity and brand.

• Assist in promoting events through social media platforms and institutional channels, leveraging digital tools to reach a broader audience and increase visibility.
• Record short video snippets, interviews, or highlights from the event for promotional use, capturing key moments and conveying the excitement of the experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
• Experience:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an anchor, host, or presenter in a professional setting, preferably in hosting educational or corporate events.
  • Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi/Punjabi is beneficial.
  • Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, and presentation skills, able to connect with diverse audiences and convey complex ideas effectively.
  • Confident, dynamic, and energetic personality, adept at handling pressure and unexpected situations during live events.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with media production and event management tools is desirable.
