Senior SAP SAC Analytics Consultant Job Description

As a Senior SAP SAC Analytics Consultant, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing advanced analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Your primary focus will be on creating data models, stories, and visualizations to support business decision-making processes.

You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform analysis, and deliver actionable insights using SAC capabilities. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAC with other data sources, such as SAP BW, S/4 HANA, and HANA Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement SAC dashboards, reports, and planning models.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform analysis, and deliver insights using SAC capabilities.
  • Build data models, stories, and visualizations to support decision-making processes.
  • Integrate SAC with SAP BW, S/4 HANA, HANA Cloud, and other data sources.
  • Optimize reports and dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.
  • Provide training, support, and documentation to business users.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, data governance, and security standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed as a Senior SAP SAC Analytics Consultant, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of overall experience, with minimum 3+ years in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Strong expertise in SAC Planning, Predictive Analytics, and Story building.
  • Hands-on experience with SAC Data Models, Calculations, and Scripting (Advanced Formulas, Data Actions, Allocations).
  • Good understanding of SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and HANA database modeling.
  • Experience in Live Data Connections and Import Data Connections.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard design best practices.
Good to Have

The following skills are highly desirable but not mandatory:

  • Knowledge of SAP BPC, Group Reporting, or IBP integration with SAC.
  • Experience with non-SAC data source integration (SQL, Azure, etc.).
  • Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP).
