Job Summary

As a Senior Fraud Analyst, you will play a key role in our fraud risk management efforts by contributing to data analysis, machine learning model development, and generation AI technology. You will work closely with investigation and loss mitigation teams to maintain effective investigation tools and technologies, data processes, and reporting.

This is an opportunity for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about fraud and has the ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in analytics and data science, as well as exposure to fraud detection models.

  • Develop and apply advanced statistical techniques and data visualization methods to identify trends and patterns in large datasets.
  • Design and implement predictive models using ensemble modeling and machine learning algorithms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and propose solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in statistics, economics, or engineering, and possess excellent analytical and communication skills. They should be proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, and have experience with data visualization tools and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of predictive models and machine learning algorithms for fraud detection.
  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights to stakeholders on fraud trends and patterns.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product development teams to design and implement new systems and processes.

Requirements:

  1. M.Sc in Statistics, Economics, or Engineering degree or Professional education in Data Science.
  2. Good Knowledge of Python, R, SQL, MS Excel, and SQL database & coding.
  3. At least a bachelor's degree in mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Statistics.

Additional responsibilities include people management, system validations, and research/survey activities regarding fraud and risk.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of statistical techniques and data visualization methods.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive model development.
