Our organization is seeking an experienced Anti-Money Laundering Professional to play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our financial transactions.

Job Description:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews and investigations to identify potential money laundering risks, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging AML threats and typologies.

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of AML regulations, transaction monitoring, and risk assessment in the investment and financial services industry.
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis, compliance tools, and MS Office applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive AML reviews and investigations, identifying potential money laundering risks and mitigating them through effective counter-measures.
  2. Monitor client transactions and activities to identify suspicious patterns or anomalies, utilizing expertise in data analysis and compliance tools.
  3. Perform thorough Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for new and existing clients.
  4. Review alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems, escalating high-risk cases for further analysis and preparing Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) / Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate records of investigations, risk assessments, and reporting for audit and compliance purposes.

Proficiency in AML software and tools, along with excellent organizational and time management skills, are essential for success in this role.
