Program Manager Role

This role involves setting up and managing training programs to enhance the skills and performance of associates.

About the Position

This individual contributor position requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in training and development, with experience in instructional design, adult learning principles, and learning management systems.
  • Responsibilities include conducting training needs assessments, designing and delivering effective training programs, overseeing onboarding programs, evaluating training effectiveness, collaborating with department leaders, and tracking training participation.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct surveys, interviews, and consultation with managers to determine training needs.
  2. Develop and deliver training programs and materials for associates at all levels.
  3. Create and manage onboarding programs for new hires and ongoing development for current employees.
  4. Evaluate training programs and make improvements as needed.
  5. Collaborate with department leaders to align training with business objectives.
  6. Track training participation and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Masters or Post Graduate Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in training, learning and development, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and training software.
  • Understanding of eCommerce and cross border trade space.
  • Certification in training or development.
  • Experience in retail or large-scale operations.
  • Ability to analyze data and report on training effectiveness.
