About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for data integration use cases.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets and experience working with IBM ITX projects. They will be able to interpret and map these sets to system data models and ITX transformations.

In this role, you will work closely with solution architects to define interface specifications, source-to-target mappings, and validation rules. You will also prepare Functional Requirement Documents, Data Mapping Specs, and interface control documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for data integration use cases involving IBM ITX.
  • Interpret and map HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets (e.g., 270/271, 837, 835, 999) to system data models and ITX transformations.
  • Work closely with solution architects to define interface specifications, source-to-target mappings, and validation rules.
  • Prepare Functional Requirement Documents, Data Mapping Specs, and interface control documents.
  • Support ITX developers in translating business requirements into technical design artifacts and testable maps.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical or Integration Business Analyst
  • Strong working knowledge of HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets
  • Experience working with or supporting IBM ITX (Transformation Extender) projects
  • Ability to understand and document source-to-target data mappings
  • Proficiency in analyzing flat files, XML, JSON, and CSV formats
