Lead Finance and Accounting Manager Role

HappyLocate, a leading relocation company, is seeking a highly skilled finance professional to lead our day-to-day finance and accounting operations. As Lead Finance and Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial closures, preparing and maintaining financial statements, and coordinating statutory compliances.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all day-to-day finance and accounting activities, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closures, including preparation and review of financial statements.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely closure of all statutory compliances, including tax returns and audits.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the business.
  • Support decision-making by providing financial insights and management reporting.
  • Implement and monitor internal financial controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Optimize financial processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Qualified CA/CPA/ICWA/CA Inter with 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Tally and other accounting software.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into details while seeing and understanding the big picture.
