Bartender

We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to fill the role of Bartender in our dynamic microbrewery taproom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pour and serve craft beers with precision, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
  • Greet customers, provide beer recommendations, and educate guests about different beer styles, ingredients, and brewing techniques.
  • Mix and serve beer-based cocktails or specialty drinks if applicable.
  • Offer guided tastings and suggest food pairings to enhance the guest experience.
  • Take customer orders efficiently and communicate with kitchen and waitstaff as needed.
  • Monitor beer taps, stock kegs, maintain bar inventory, and restock supplies.
  • Keep the bar area clean and sanitized, including glassware, taps, and counters.
  • Process payments accurately, including cash and card transactions.
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service laws, ID verification protocols, and health safety regulations.
  • Assist with brewery events, beer tastings, and promotional activities.
Qualifications:
  • Previous bartending experience in a brewery, bar, or restaurant is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for craft beer, brewing processes, and beer styles.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
  • Must meet the legal age requirement for serving alcohol in the location of employment.
  • TIPS or equivalent alcohol service certification is a plus.
