Job Title: Duck Creek Policy and Billing Developer

This position requires a skilled professional to design, build, and implement Property and Casualty Insurance products using Duck Creek tools.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Property and Casualty Insurance products.
  • Document technical approaches.
  • Perform coding, unit testing, and code review in the Duck Creek platform.
  • Coach and help team members with their delivery.

Technical Expertise:
  • Experience with the 8.x Duck Creek Platform and Express 3.
  • Deep understanding of Duck Creek Billing Administration System configuration.
  • Ability to translate business needs into manuscript inheritance and group structure.
  • Proficient in Manuscript Coding & Configuration using Author, Product Studio, Express, Server, User Admin, and TransACT.
  • Hands-on experience in Account setup, Payment plan, Invoice processing, Payment allocation and distribution, Follow-up, Notices, Installment Schedule, General Ledger setup, Direct Bill, Agency Bill, Commission processing, Batch Payment, Onetime Payment, Credit and Debit Card Payment, Lockbox Payment.
  • Experience in Billing Integrations such as TraceMonitor, ExampleUtil, TSV Monitor, Data Tester.
  • XML and XSLT programming experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Duck Creek product versions 4.x, 5.x, 6.x, 7.x, or latest.
  • Experience with SQL Server including Customizing and debugging SQL Store, Triggers, User-defined Functions / Types, Cursors and XQueries.

  • Good communication and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of the Insurance domain is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, including coaching and helping to resolve issues.
  • Full knowledge of the software development life cycle using Agile methodology.
