Security Architect

At Paramount Computer Systems, we are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our team. As a Security Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, building, testing, and implementing security systems within our organization's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Infrastructure Design: Design and develop security architectures for cloud and on-premises systems that align with our business objectives.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritize remediation and mitigation efforts.
  • Security Policies and Procedures: Establish and enforce security policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Security Testing: Oversee security testing activities (e.g., vulnerability assessments, penetration testing) and drive remediation of identified risks.
  • Incident Response Planning: Develop and maintain incident response plans to address security breaches effectively.
  • Security Awareness: Educate and train employees on security best practices and promote security awareness across the organization.
  • Emerging Security Trends: Stay updated on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to continually improve our security posture.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of network security architecture, protocols, and technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS).
  • Cloud Security: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and securing cloud-based infrastructures.
  • Security Tools: Familiarity with security tools such as Firewall, NAC, SIEM, DLP, endpoint protection, and encryption technologies.
  • Compliance: Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and experience implementing compliance controls.
  • Risk Management: Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a security architect role or similar position.
