Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Location: Chennai


Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a technology strategy aligned with the company’s business goals, focusing on scalability and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for strategic advantage, ensuring their impact aligns with business needs.
  • Lead and inspire technology teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with executive leadership, business units, and stakeholders to integrate technology solutions with business objectives.


Innovation & Product Development:

  • Spearhead innovation initiatives to enhance service offerings and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the design and development of scalable, secure technology solutions, software systems, and infrastructure.
  • Stay at the forefront of technological advancements, providing strategic insights to maintain a competitive edge.


Infrastructure & Operations:

  • Ensure high-performance and secure technology operations, including systems infrastructure, networks, and data management.
  • Implement disaster recovery plans and develop business continuity strategies.
  • Identify technology-related risks and ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.


Collaboration & Communication:

  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor to the CEO and key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of the technology strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business priorities and ensure seamless integration.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 20 years of experience with 5+ years of experience in a senior technology leadership role, ideally in the Indian market.
  • Proven track record in managing IT infrastructure, budgets, software development, and systems architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of technology trends, best practices, and the Indian technology landscape.
  • Expertise in software development methodologies, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives, cloud technology adoption, and data-driven strategies.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to convert business objectives into actionable technology strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering high-performing technology teams.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale technology projects, delivering on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, utilizing data for informed decision-making.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, databases, and system design principles.
  • Proficiency in risk mitigation and data security for digital assets.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks specific to the Indian market.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Ability to navigate complex technology environments and align technology initiatives with business strategies.
