  • Create high-quality, efficient Golang code and set standards for the team's coding practices.
  • Collaborate with the product team to understand new features and projects, then determine the best approach to implement them.
  • Design systems that can handle large volumes of requests without issues.
  • Work with Kafka, AWS services, and containerized deployments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure high-quality code – conduct detailed PR reviews and enforce adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and product backlog discussions to maintain alignment.
  • Keep tech documentation up-to-date to facilitate understanding among team members.
  • Effectively distribute work within your team and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Monitor system health using tools like Grafana, New Relic, Sentry, and intervene promptly when incidents occur.
  • Help improve our CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts (Python/Shell).

  • 8+ years of backend development experience, with at least 4+ years in Golang.
  • Strong system design skills and experience building large-scale systems.
  • Good understanding of Kafka.
  • Proficient with Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on with AWS (ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, EC2, Route 53).
  • Familiarity with MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience with at least one of these: Grafana (Loki, Tempo, Prometheus), New Relic, Sentry.
  • Ability to write basic automation scripts in Python or Shell.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
