We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PCB Design Engineer with solid experience in schematic and layout design, validation, board bring up and debugging. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the design of multilayer PCB layouts up to 6-12 layers in mixed signal designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex multilayer PCB layouts using state-of-the-art software tools.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in high-speed mixed signals, HDI boards, and BGA packaging.
  • Implement Blind and buried via techniques for optimal performance.
  • Stay current with the latest interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, CAN, etc., and apply this knowledge to design robust and efficient PCBs.
  • Maintain EMI/EMC compliance through careful design practices.
  • Analyze and optimize designs using DFM & DFA analysis, Gerber & ODB++ checking, and other relevant tools.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with IPC standards.
  • Utilize Allegro tool for designing schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Review and validate internal and customer designs to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve manufacturing-related issues and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough board bring-ups, debugging, and testing to identify and rectify defects.
  • Familiarize yourself with UART, I2C, LCD, SPI, QSPI, CSI2, and CAN communication protocols.
  • Select suitable components for schematic designs based on performance requirements.

Mentor junior engineers, participate in design/code reviews, and contribute to the development of best practices within the team. Key qualifications include:

  • A proven track record of delivering production-level PCBs.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of industrial PCB design tools and workflows.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
