Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer to join our agile hardware team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality PCBs that meet specifications and ensure efficient manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Printed Circuit Boards: Create PCBs with precision and accuracy.
  • Prepare Documents for PCB Assembly and Fabrication: Use CAD software to prepare documents for assembly and fabrication.
  • Design Layouts for High-Speed Reliable Circuits: Develop layouts that ensure high-speed reliable circuits.
  • Work on Routing Layout: Focus on routing layout to achieve optimal circuit design.
  • Analyze and Resolve Design-Related Issues: Identify and resolve any design-related issues promptly.
  • Provide Support to Manufacturing Teams: Offer technical support as needed.
  • Provide Revisions Based on Specifications: Provide revisions based on customer and engineer specifications.
  • Review and Recommend Improvements: Review existing designs and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Assist in Preparing Test Procedures: Assist in preparing test procedures to verify PCB functions.

Requirements:

  • Strong Knowledge of PCBs: Possess strong knowledge of printed circuit boards.
  • Work Experience with Software: Have experience working with software such as OrCAD and Altium.
  • Clear Understanding of PCB Layer Stack-Up: Understand the layer stack-up of PCBs.
  • Knowledge of Common PCB Design Rules: Familiarity with common PCB design rules.
  • Experience Working with Engineering Drawings: Experience working with engineering drawings.
