Job Title: Salesforce Data Cloud Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Data Cloud Architect to oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of our Salesforce Data Cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Design and implement data pipelines, ingestion processes, and harmonization rules for efficient data flow across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Security and Governance: Define best practices for environment setup, security, and governance, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations.
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Establish RBAC to ensure data security and compliance by assigning appropriate permissions to users.
  • Monitoring and Performance: Monitor data processing jobs, ingestion performance, and data harmonization to optimize data flow and minimize errors.
  • CICD Pipelines: Establish CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps to automate deployment and testing processes.
  • Version Control and Deployment: Implement version control and automated deployment strategies for Data Cloud configurations to ensure consistency and reliability.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Extensive experience in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce apps.
  • Azure DevOps Tools: Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps tools and pipeline creation, with proficiency in automation scripting (primarily YAML, with additional languages as needed).
  • SFDX and Automation: Hands-on experience with SFDX, Azure Repos, and automated release deployments for Salesforce.
  • Git Branching Strategies: Expertise in implementing GIT branching strategies using VS Code integrated with Salesforce CLI tool.

  • Salesforce Data Cloud Architecture: Proficiency in Salesforce Data Cloud architecture and best practices.
  • Data Storage Solutions: Experience with data lake, Snowflake, or cloud-based data storage solutions.
