As an inventory manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records. Your primary responsibilities include recording inventory transactions, reconciling inventory balances, and monitoring inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile discrepancies between physical and book inventory counts by thoroughly reviewing all stock movements and identifying any potential issues that could impact the accuracy of your records.
  • Identify perpetual inventory issues and implement corrective actions to prevent further discrepancies and maintain the integrity of your inventory records.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly variance summary reports to track inventory trends and provide valuable insights for future decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain inventory roll forward spreadsheets to ensure accurate tracking of inventory movements and optimize your supply chain operations.

Additionally, you will be responsible for calculating the monthly average cost per unit, ensuring that all accounting and inventory accounting principles are followed. A strong background in COGS accounting is essential for this role.
