About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to fill a Senior System Administrator position. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and extensive experience in managing servers and network infrastructures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional technical support to customers with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and manage IT infrastructure for clients and administration
  • Lead investigations and resolve problems as required
  • Troubleshoot Windows server issues and optimize system performance
  • Monitor network devices such as firewalls, switches, and access points
  • Analyze network alerts and diagnose network errors
  • Manage and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers, including Hyper-V, VMware, Azure, and AWS administration
  • NAS and SAN storage administration and troubleshooting
  • Plan and execute upgrades and updates of infrastructure
  • Ensure timely resolution of all tickets while meeting customer Service Level Agreements (SLA)

Key Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Wintel and Networking fundamentals
  • Strong customer service experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with Server and Network Administration and Troubleshooting
  • Good knowledge and experience of Server Roles, including AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, File & Print, RDS, etc.
  • Hands-on experience working with Hyper-V and VMware
  • Advanced knowledge of Firewalls, Switching, and Routing
  • Knowledge of backups and storage solutions, including SAN and NAS
  • Hands-on experience with Wintel networking and troubleshooting
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and data center operations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2-3 years of IT or related domain experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Education: Graduate degree in any field, preferably in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in end-user technical support
