Static Equipment Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Static Equipment Design Engineer with expertise in detailing, drafting of storage tanks, pressure vessels, and other static equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Oil & Gas Industry Practices along with various National & International codes and standards, hands-on experience with engineering tools, and a practical mindset for real-world applications.

  • Experience in Detailing & Engineering Static Equipment (Storage Tanks / Pressure Vessels / columns / Reactors, Heat Exchangers).
  • Understanding and Executing Drafting as per Mechanical Datasheet, Project specification as per various National & International PMC's.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., API 650/620, ASME Section VIII Div.1, TEMA, IS 2825, IS 803 etc).
  • Review engineering drawings and specifications related to static equipment as per code requirements & project specifications.
  • Plan and execute day-to-day Engineering activities to meet Project timelines.
  • Maintain Project Documents in retrievable way.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of Detailed Engineering.
  • Coordinate Drafting team.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of engineering deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of static equipment in overall project design.
  • Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning of static equipment.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Designing Storage Tanks, Pressure vessels, heat exchangers.
  • Preparing detailed layouts and general arrangement drawings for static equipment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD & MS Excel, MS Word.
  • Data sheets, specifications, and material requisition management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualification
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent with 5 years and above Real-time experience in oil and gas upstream/downstream projects.
