Technical Lead for Murex Back Office Development

This role is focused on leading the development of back office applications using Murex mxml.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Murex mxml development and a strong understanding of the Murex system as a whole.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop transformation logic to convert source data into a Murex understandable format (MxML).
  2. Create import and export workflows using MXML Exchange.
  3. Document functional, technical specifications, and test cases for integration.
  4. Produce exception reports for failures.
  5. Configure and build Murex Reports for report-based interfaces.
  6. Design custom tasks in MxML Exchange for specific processing not available through standard task libraries.
  7. Work on CRs for business object workflows including contract, event, deliverable, and other business object workflows.
  8. Prepare and send timely status reports.
  9. Track testing progress and escalate issues well in advance.
Requirements:
  • At least 10+ years of experience on MX3.1 back office applications.
  • Understanding of capital market products.
  • Experience with Murex workflow development involving trade life cycles, creating new system interface workflows, confirmation generation, error management, OSP, etc.
  • Ability to perform business analysis and requirement gathering independently.
  • Proficiency in UNIX and SQL.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues.
  • Experience working with ISO20022 MX messages.
  • BASIC knowledge of financial instruments such as interest rate derivatives, credit derivatives, currency derivatives, swaps, futures, options, FRA, etc.
