Job Title:

Senior Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for end-to-end and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Debug failed tests and report defects with clear documentation.
  • Ensure test coverage for new features and regression testing.
  • Maintain and update test frameworks and libraries as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote test automation best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation with Cypress.io.
  • Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs, browser dev tools).
  • Experience with source control tools like Git.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Knowledge of other test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).
  • Exposure to performance testing or security testing.
  • Experience testing in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
