Senior Manual Tester Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team. This role involves planning, designing, and executing test cases to ensure software, platforms, and systems meet the required standards of performance and reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reporting.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to validate bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze test results, provide feedback, and recommend improvements.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and defect management tools.
  • Proficiency in writing test cases, bug reports, and test documentation.
  • Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certification preferred.
Experience
  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, preferably in telecom or enterprise applications.
  • Experience in telecom software or network management systems a strong plus.
