We are seeking a seasoned Data Platform Specialist to spearhead the optimization of our Azure-based data engineering platform. This role requires an exceptional blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing robust data pipelines using Databricks and Azure services. They must be proficient in scripting languages and have hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code platforms.

A strong background in cloud security and compliance is essential for ensuring that our data ecosystem adheres to best practices. The successful candidate will also possess excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Pipeline Optimization: Design and implement efficient data pipelines using Databricks and Azure services.
  • Cloud Security and Compliance: Ensure that our data ecosystem adheres to industry-leading security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • CI/CD and Infrastructure-As-Code: Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or ARM templates.
  • System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Develop and maintain monitoring tools to track system metrics and alert on anomalies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, data platform support, or DevOps.
  • Proficiency in Azure services, Databricks, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code platforms.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and auditing tools in cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
