Aquanow seeks a Cloud Security Engineer to play a pivotal role in safeguarding its infrastructure and assets. This individual will work closely with experienced professionals to identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring the company's continued growth and success.

Key responsibilities include performing security assessments and audits of the infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing best practices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using Terraform and other infrastructure as code tools, managing vulnerabilities, policies, and implementing DevSecOps practices.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve security incidents arising on their services.
  • Conduct in-depth security reviews of application code, working closely with developers to ensure secure coding practices from the outset.
  • Implement and manage security tools within the CI/CD pipeline, focusing on securing software development lifecycle.
  • Monitor and analyze logs, events, and metrics to detect security incidents and emerging threats.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of Security Engineering experience preferably in AWS Cloud, with expertise in at least two of the following areas: cloud security, web application security, incident response, threat hunting, and cybersecurity operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
