A Strategic Procurement Specialist is sought to join our team.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of procurement processes and be able to handle operational activities effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

  • Operational Support:
    • Responsible for ensuring seamless execution and compliance with organizational standards.
    • Responsible for handling procurement processes for assigned categories.
    • Responsible for ensuring PO's are released within agreed KPI's.
    • Responsible for life cycle management of purchase orders till delivery at respective plant gate.
    • Responsible for post PO collaboration to ensure delivery dates are adhered.
    • Responsible for logistics arrangement & PO provisions for delivery (Ex works).
    • Responsible for rush orders being processed on green channel.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Responsible for working with internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to pricing/lead time/QM Info/MPN etc issues.
    • Responsible for post delivery coordination with Plant partnering team for resolution of supplier/logistics issues.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with team members of PO Operations/Plant Partnering, Dpex , QC/GQM etc.
    • Participate in team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks on daily and weekly basis.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and suggest opportunities for process optimization within the assigned category.
    • Responsible for training to suppliers for various Dpex lead process enhancements in S2P tool.
    Required Skills and Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement.
  • SAP Operating knowledge.
  • Internal SOP's for material handling.
