About the Role

Lingaro Group is a global data services partner to leading brands and enterprises. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be part of our Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DS/AI) Competency Center, leveraging data, analytics, and AI technologies to extract insights and develop predictive models.

The DS/AI Competency Center focuses on leveraging data, analytics, and artificial intelligence technologies to extract insights, build predictive models, and develop AI-powered solutions. Utilizes Exploratory Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning, Model Deployment, and Integration as well as Model Monitoring and Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Running end-to-end initiatives (Business understanding, Data understanding/preparation, Modeling, Evaluation and Deployment)
  • Analyzing and interpreting the findings
  • Drawing conclusions and recommendations- including expected benefits and measuring ROI for enhancing business processes
  • Supporting Pre-sales activities and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with theory behind various machine learning concepts
  • Experience with Machine Learning (ML), especially in the area of Generative AI (LLM/LMM) with focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) or multi-modal models
  • Experience with business requirements gathering, transforming them into technical plan, data processing, feature engineering, models evaluation, hypothesis testing, and model deployment
  • Fluency in Python, working knowledge of SQL and vector database
  • Knowledge of specific DS/ML/CV/GenAI/NLP libraries like: NumPy, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, and GenAI APIs i.e. OpenAI/Gemini

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in working with big data and distributed environments would be a plus
  • Commercial experience proven by multiple successful projects in the area of Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, or Computer Vision would be a big plus
