Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our project accounting and capitalization efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring overall capex within approved limits, managing project progress, cost variance, actual spent, and forecasted cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

Project Accounting and Capitalisation:

  • Accurate accounting of element wise and stream wise project costs, common cost allocation, finalisation of transfer pricing for inter-company transactions, asset capitalisation.
  • Partnering with treasury and banking teams for ECA and debt financing at optimised costs.
  • Continuous monitoring of project inventory, partnering with PMC's/sub-contractors, inventory reconciliations.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identifying and assessing financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate and manage these risks effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance.

Policies, Processes and Procedures:

  • Creating standard policies, processes, procedures that align with business objectives.
  • Monitoring their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.

People Management:

  • Mentoring and developing respective teams to take larger responsibilities and efficiently perform their roles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The selected candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in CA (up to 3rd attempt) with expertise in project management, project activities, financial planning & analysis, budget and cost control, accounting and capitalization.

They should have proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as MS Office, SAP, and other industry-specific applications.
