Job Title: Cash Handling Professional

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Cash Handling Professional. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing cash transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize enterprise resource planning systems to identify outstanding accounts.
  • Generate bills and invoices specific to customers, ensuring timely delivery via digital and traditional channels.
  • Reconcile all payments with invoices, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Receive and sort incoming payments, including cash, debit/credit cards, online payments, and UPI transfers.
  • Manage petty cash, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Identify any discrepancies in transactions or pricing within the ERP system.
  • Regularly update receivables specific to customers, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Address customer queries and resolve problems in a professional manner.
  • Submit collected cash to the designated authority at the end of each day.
  • Reconcile all received payments at the end of each day.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports to the accounting team.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports, presenting findings to the relevant authorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting software and ERP systems, such as Oracle or SAP.
  • Excellent computational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of office software and machinery.
  • Essential Experience: At least one year of experience as a Billing Executive in a large format store environment.
  • Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong integrity and ethics.
