Job Title: Software Development Leader

Role Overview

The software development leader will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to develop and implement cutting-edge technologies in the field of FPGA implementation software. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for software engineering.

The role requires a strategic thinker who can work with cross-functional teams to drive sophisticated issues to resolution. A good understanding of FPGA is beneficial, but not necessary.


Responsibilities
  • Work with architecture specialists to improve future products
  • Apply data-driven approaches to target optimization efforts
  • Stay informed of software and hardware trends and innovations, especially pertaining to algorithms and architecture
  • Design and develop new groundbreaking technologies
  • Participate and lead new FPGA software and hardware bring-ups
  • Debugging/fix existing issues and research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work

Requirements
  • Strong object-oriented programming background, C/C++ preferred
  • B.E/B.Tech/B.S or M.E/MS in CS, EE or CE with 15+ years of software development experience
  • Good experience in Floor planning /EDA / Placement / Routing
  • Ability to write high-quality code with a keen attention to detail
  • Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs
  • Experience with Windows, Linux and/or Android operating system development
  • Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers is a plus
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Motivating leader with good interpersonal skills
