Memory Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the design and architecture of memory circuits, including characterization, layout, and net-listing. They must be skilled in SRAM leafcell GDS design from scratch to top-level integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and layout of memory cells, arrays, and peripheral circuits using Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsys Custom Compiler
  • Proficient in working with advanced nodes (7nm/5nm/3nm) and physical verification flow debug tools like DRC, LVS, DFM, PERC, ERC, EM, IR
  • Optimize layouts for yield enhancement and manufacturing robustness
  • Debugging silicon failures and identifying layout-related issues

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in full custom memory design and architecture
  • Hands-on experience in FinFET architecture and challenges such as variability and manufacturability
  • Understanding and working knowledge of good layout practices in lower process nodes like 7nm and 5nm
