Key Responsibilities

The role involves sourcing indirect spend categories with a spend range of $250k or less, managing supplier performance, negotiating and concluding contracts, ensuring contract compliance, and driving the preparation of proposals, quotations, and competitive bids. The candidate will also be responsible for developing, reviewing, negotiating, and executing complex business agreements and contracts, as well as evaluating, selecting, and setting up ongoing performance management for suppliers.

The successful candidate will have to scout for better suppliers, collaborate closely with customers to understand their requirements, close deals within the given time frame, and perform spend and market analytics to identify the best available market price for ongoing projects. They will also be required to optimally manage internal and external customers and partners, meet savings targets, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain customer happiness.

Qualifications
  • Graduation in any subject area is mandatory, along with relevant work experience in a sourcing role, preferably with indirect services experience. Business knowledge and day-to-day understanding of sourcing and procurement activities are essential.
  • Good communication and analytical skills are necessary, along with strong analytics skills. A good command of MS Office Tools, such as Excel and PowerPoint, is also desirable.
