Job Title: Governance Risk Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with expertise in Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), ISO 27001 implementation/audits, and IT security governance.

The ideal candidate will support clients in managing and improving their risk posture through effective governance and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain ISMS frameworks based on ISO 27001 standards to ensure robust security controls.
  • Assist in conducting gap assessments, risk assessments, and internal audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support external ISO 27001 certification and surveillance audits to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Develop documentation such as policies, procedures, statements of applicability, risk registers, etc. to streamline processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance and audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular IT security audits and provide reports on findings and remediation plans to stakeholders.
  • Provide advisory services on risk management, compliance, and information security best practices to enhance client maturity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in GRC, ISO 27001, ISMS, and IT audit.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 27001 controls, risk assessment methodologies, and audit lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks like NIST, GDPR, SOC 2 is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements effectively.
