Product Security Engineer II

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the security landscape of our products and services. Your expertise will help ensure a robust defense against potential threats.

As a Product Security Engineer II, your responsibilities will encompass executing security review processes, managing exceptions, and collaborating with development teams to guarantee secure and trustworthy product delivery.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Managing end-to-end security sign-off processes across multiple product development streams.
  • Coordinating security review workflows, tracking timelines, and ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Leading the security exception management program, including intake, assessment coordination, and approval tracking.
  • Facilitating cross-functional security program meetings and stakeholder communications.
  • Developing and maintaining security program metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
  • Overseeing security risk posture documentation and communicating risk trends to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Coordinating AI governance processes for generative AI implementations, ensuring proper review workflows.
  • Driving process improvements and automation opportunities within security operations, including leveraging GenAI and agentic AI.
  • Establishing and maintaining security program documentation, standards, and operating procedures.
Requirements
  • 4-8 years of experience in program/project coordination, preferably in security or risk domains.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with security review processes and exception management.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and risk management principles.
  • Understanding of AI/ML project lifecycles and governance considerations.
  • Good communication skills with ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Proficiency in tracking tools, documentation systems, and process management.
  • Security-related certifications or training.
  • Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
  • Background in security operations or product development support.
