Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

This is a senior security position that requires an expert in incident response, threat hunting and security solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and troubleshooting advanced security tools and frameworks.

• Lead Incident Response: Triage, containment, eradication and root cause analysis of complex security incidents.
• Threat Hunting: Perform forensic investigations, malware analysis and other activities to identify potential threats.
• Security Solutions Management: Manage and fine-tune enterprise security solutions including SIEM, EDR, NDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF and VPNs.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert for escalated security events from junior teams.
• Process Improvement: Review and update runbooks, threat detection rules and incident response procedures.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to analyze IOCs, TTPs and emerging threats.
• Vulnerability Assessment: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate patch management with IT/DevOps.
• Infrastructure Security: Conduct security reviews of infrastructure, applications and network architecture.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR.
• Automation: Automate security operations and incident response workflows using scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience: 5-10 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity with at least 2-3 years in an L3 or advanced SOC role.
• Expertise: Expertise in managing and troubleshooting advanced security tools and frameworks including SIEM, EDR, Firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cyberattack techniques, threat detection and incident response lifecycle.
• Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash or PowerShell.
