Key Responsibilities:

  • FPGA Design Flow & Validation - Develop and validate FPGA designs.
  • RTL Design, Implementation, and Protocols - Implement RTL designs, protocols (PCIe, Ethernet, DDR4/5), and integrate with other system components.
  • Integration-focused Role - 80% Integration, 20% Design - Focus on integrating complex systems and designing solutions.
  • System-level Testing & Design - Design and test system-level components to ensure proper functionality.
  • Silicon Validation - Validate silicon designs to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Debugging Interfaces and Design-level Debugging - Identify and debug issues with design interfaces and perform design-level debugging.
  • Board-level Debugging - Perform board-level debugging to resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • Strong Knowledge in RTL Design and Implementation - Proficient in designing and implementing RTL circuits.
  • Expertise in FPGA Design Flow and Validation - Experienced in designing, implementing, and validating FPGA designs.
  • Experience with System-level Testing and Silicon Validation - Proven experience in testing and validating silicon designs at the system level.
  • Hands-on Exposure to Debugging - Experienced in debugging board-level and design-level issues.
  • Familiarity with Xilinx / Intel Toolchains - Familiar with toolchains from Xilinx and Intel.
  • Understanding of Protocols - Understands various communication protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, DDR4/5, and Memory.

As a Silicon Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that silicon designs meet specifications. This involves developing and validating FPGA designs, implementing RTL designs and protocols, and integrating complex systems. You will also be responsible for identifying and debugging issues with design interfaces and performing board-level debugging. In addition, you will need to have strong knowledge in RTL design and implementation, expertise in FPGA design flow and validation, and experience with system-level testing and silicon validation.
