CAM Programmer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CAM Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating complex CNC machining programs using NX software.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement CAM programs for CNC machines, defining cutting tools and strategies for 3D models.
  • Validate outputs through tool path simulations and generate NC code.
  • Process inputs by validating 3D models against 2D drawings and assembling part geometry in fixtures.
  • Support production by collaborating with process engineers to implement CAM programs on CNC machines.
  • Ensure quality control by analyzing QC reports and implementing corrective actions.
  • Document setup sheets and work instructions for CNC operators.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in NX CAM (B.E.) or 8 years (Diploma).
  • Mandatory skills: GD&T, CNC machines, NX CAD, cutting tools, and FANUC Controller.
