As a Solution Architect, you will design and implement enterprise-grade solutions within the Workday platform by optimizing financial systems, partnering with key stakeholders, and leading initiatives to implement system enhancements.

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise-level solutions within the Workday environment that align with business objectives.
  • Optimize financial systems and lead strategic enhancements across Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Product Owners, IT Product Managers, Technical Architects, Compliance, and development/support teams to align product strategy and roadmap with organizational priorities.
  • Monitor industry trends, Workday updates, and emerging technologies for potential application within the organization and maintain deep expertise in Workday HCM and other Workday modules as well as related business applications.
  • Provide expert-level support in Workday configuration, optimization, and customization, defining technical requirements and assisting in creating epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Guide development teams, enforcing adherence to architectural standards and best practices, and explore and recommend use cases for innovative or emerging technologies relevant to Workday and enterprise architecture.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, minimum of 9 years of IT experience, with at least 4 years in a Workday architecture role, proven expertise in Workday HCM and related modules, in-depth knowledge of Workday's security framework and business process configuration, solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles and design methodologies, and Workday certifications are required.
