Job Title: Oracle Primavera P6 Consultant

 

Job Description:

 

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage Primavera P6/Unifier projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Develop strong functional knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM, including Primavera P6 Professional Team Member and P6 Analytics.
  • Define project templates, schedules, global codes, resource codes, calendars, EPS OBS hierarchies, cost code users, user roles, project and global privileges, and different views for users.
  • Create Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) at various levels, update actuals, schedule, control, and monitor the status periodically.
  • Manage cost management, Earned Value Management (EVM), contracts, cash flow, drawings, inspections, quality, risks, claims, payments, and application user administrator modules.
  • Conduct requirement gathering, business blueprint meetings, UAT meetings, and conduct training on implemented Primavera P6 EPPM modules.
  • Prepare requirement gathering documents, BBP documents, test scripts, UAT, and training documents.
  • Develop strong knowledge of Primavera P6 web services and APIs.
  • Analyze backend database table structures to fetch reports data for Primavera P6 tools.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract critical data.
  • Collaborate with teams to design, test enhancements to Primavera P6 and Primavera, primarily in developing additional User Defined Reports (UDRs) and custom reports with BI Publisher, and carrying out enhancements.
  • Understand general Change Management and Supply Chain Process.
  • Prepare EPC Project Schedules.
  • Have knowledge of P6 Mobility.
  • Generate reports using application-wise reporting in the form of tables, bars, pie charts, trend lines, etc.
