We are seeking a seasoned Data Migration Specialist with a strong background in Excel, quality assurance (QA) testing, and accountancy. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Excel for data analysis and transformation, possess strong English communication skills, solid mathematical abilities, and experience with accounting or finance processes to ensure accuracy during migration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead data migration projects by extracting, transforming, and loading data from legacy systems to new platforms, including financial and accounting datasets.

Utilize advanced Excel functions, formulas, and macros for data validation, cleansing, and transformation.

Develop and execute QA test plans to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with business and accounting rules after migration.

Communicate testing results and recommendations effectively to stakeholders and team members.

Collaborate with team members, including developers, analysts, business users, and accounting staff, to define and implement migration strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA macros).

Solid background in QA testing, including writing test cases, performing functional testing, and data validation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Strong mathematical skills for data calculations and validation.

Experience with data migration tools and processes is a plus.

Accountancy Experience: Candidates with experience in accounting or finance are highly encouraged to apply, as these skills are relevant for financial data migration and validation tasks.

Familiarity with accounting processes or ERP/accounting systems will be considered a significant asset.
