Senior Legal Professional

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Legal Executive to lead our legal operations team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support across various jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract review and negotiation: Conduct thorough reviews and negotiations of customer and vendor contracts, including MSAs, DPAs, order forms, SOWs, marketing and event agreements, partner agreements, and related commercial contracts (SaaS and Non-SaaS).
  • Legal advice: Provide sound legal guidance on contractual obligations and commercial terms.
  • Collaboration and negotiation: Participate in customer and vendor negotiation calls with the team or independently.
  • Data privacy matters: Handle data privacy concerns, including legal research, drafting privacy-related clauses in various contracts, and staying current with global regulatory developments.
  • Contract review and maintenance: Review contracts, internal documents, and policies specific to the India jurisdiction and draft standard contract templates and playbooks to streamline the contracting process.

Requirements:

  • Law degree with approximately 4-6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the IT/software industry.
  • Strong expertise in redlining and negotiating IT/software industry-specific contracts, such as NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and DPAs.
  • In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws and experience with related documentation is a must-have.
  • Knowledge about SaaS contracts is an added advantage.
  • Experience with legal technology tools and AI-powered legal platforms is an asset.
  • Understanding of legal aspects related to employment contracts and related matters in India is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Mandatory five-day office presence.
