At the intersection of legal and compliance, we are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team.

This role will primarily focus on reviewing contracts, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and internal policies, and supporting a wide range of legal matters. The successful candidate will work closely with senior legal counsel and other departments to help safeguard the company's interests and maintain required compliance standards.

  • Contract Review & Drafting:
    • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including but not limited to supplier agreements, vendor contracts, client agreements, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
    • Ensure contracts comply with company policies and applicable laws.
    • Assist in the development of standard contract templates and processes.
    • Work closely with business teams and advise on day-to-day issues and concerns with client agreements.
  • Compliance Support:
    • Monitor and ensure the company's adherence to regulatory and legal requirements across various jurisdictions.
    • Assist in conducting internal compliance audits and risk assessments.
    • Support the development and implementation of compliance programs, policies, and training materials.
    • Advise on corporate governance, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Legal Research & Advisory:
    • Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Provide advice and recommendations on legal risks and compliance matters to internal stakeholders.
    • Assist senior legal counsel and legal team in preparing legal opinions and reports.
  • General Legal Support:
    • Assist in corporate governance matters, including board meeting minutes and regulatory filings.
    • Support the legal team with dispute resolution, litigation, and other legal matters as required.
    • Handle general legal administrative tasks, including maintaining contract databases and records.

The ideal candidate should possess an LLB or equivalent degree, 4-6 years of experience in a law firm or in-house experience, proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications, problem-solving skills, and detail-oriented approach, good communication and strong interpersonal skills, understanding of contract laws and commercial agreements.
