Senior Food Regulatory Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our regulatory team in monitoring, analysing and interpreting global regulatory updates. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in international food regulations and a deep understanding of domestic and export food labelling regulations across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide actionable insights on global regulatory changes and their implications for food businesses.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of national and international food laws related to additives, ingredients, nutrition information, metrology nuances, front of pack labelling and advertising claims.
  • Support the digitisation of regulatory frameworks into the company's SaaS platform.
  • Offer thought leadership in nutraceuticals, health supplements and functional foods.
  • Collaborate with product, technology and client teams to strengthen digital regulatory solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in food science, nutrition or regulatory affairs, with a focus on international food export regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of labelling standards, claims regulations and compliance requirements in key global markets.
  • Proven ability to track and analyse regulatory changes, advisories and amendments.
  • Familiarity with nutraceuticals and health supplement regulations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with industry, clients and regulators.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills to support digitisation of regulatory processes.
  • Industry understanding of trade policies, export compliance challenges and regulatory impact on food businesses.
