Learning Management System Administrator Role

This role encompasses the comprehensive management of learning content within a Learning Management System (LMS). The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate technical platform expertise with project management skills to ensure effective course delivery, quality administration, and successful content development initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Course Publishing & Content Management
    • Publish learning courses, curricula, and learning paths within the LMS while ensuring proper categorization, tagging, and metadata for optimal searchability and reporting.
    • Manage course enrollment processes, prerequisites, and completion requirements to guarantee seamless user experience.
    • Coordinate SCORM, xAPI, and other content package uploads and testing to maintain high-quality content.
    • Maintain accurate course catalogs and troubleshoot technical issues related to course functionality and user access.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Evaluate content assets that are requested to load in the LMS and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Learning Administration
    • Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions within the Cornerstone platform to ensure data integrity.
    • Monitor learner progress and completion rates across all courses and programs, generating insightful analytics reports.
    • Support learners with technical issues and platform navigation while maintaining compliance training requirements and automated notifications.
    • Collaborate with IT and vendor support for system maintenance and updates to ensure seamless operations.
  • Strategic Learning Support
    • Align LMS capabilities with organizational learning objectives through collaboration with learning and development teams.
    • Provide recommendations for platform optimization and feature utilization to drive maximum efficiency.
    • Support the evaluation and implementation of new learning technologies and integrations to enhance the LMS ecosystem.
    • Develop learning governance policies and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent best practices.
