Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Analog Mixed Signal (AMS) Timing Characterization Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the characterization of analog mixed signal macros, extraction of timing models, and correlation of data to Hspice simulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Characterization of AMS Macros: Develop and implement efficient methods for characterizing analog mixed signal macros, ensuring accurate results and high-quality output.
  • Timing Model Extraction: Extract timing models from various sources, including NanoTime, and correlate them with Hspice simulations for accuracy checks.
  • Automation and Methodology: Implement automation using Shell/Perl/TCL or Python to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • 3+ Years Experience in Lib Characterization: Proven experience in library characterization for analog mixed signal macros is essential.
  • NanoTime Expertise: Must have hands-on experience with NanoTime for accurate timing model extraction.
  • Strong Understanding of Timing Fundamentals: A solid understanding of timing fundamentals is crucial for successful implementation.
  • Hspice/Spectre Simulation Skills: Experience in Hspice/Spectre simulators is desirable for accurate simulation results.
  • Automation and Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to automate processes using Shell/Perl/TCL or Python are must-haves.

  • Timing Models: Provide accurate timing models for AMS macros in multiple formats as required.
  • Methodology Improvements: Continuously improve methodologies and flows using automation techniques.
