Lead Quality Assurance Specialist for E-commerce Platforms

Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to oversee the User Acceptance Testing efforts for our e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will ensure that all business requirements are met, and the platform delivers a seamless user experience across web and mobile channels.

The QA Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and product owners to validate end-to-end functionality before production release.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of skilled testers and contribute to the success of our e-commerce platform.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute test plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of testing objectives.
  2. Define UAT scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  3. Oversee creation and execution of test cases based on business requirements.
  4. Ensure coverage of critical e-commerce flows (e.g., product search, cart, checkout, payment, returns).
  5. Track, analyze, and escalate defects.
  6. Collaborate with development and QA teams for resolution.
  7. Facilitate UAT sign-off and ensure stakeholder alignment.
Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, customer journeys, and payment gateways.

Hands-on experience with Magento is required, with in-depth knowledge of functional flow and admin flows.

Experience with JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, or similar tools.

Familiarity with Agile, Scrum methodologies.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

ISTQB, PMP, or similar certifications preferred.
