Job Title:

E-commerce Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce websites using Shopify.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize Shopify e-commerce websites for clients.
  • Extend theme functionality for custom cart, filters, or other requirements.
  • Work with metaobject and metafield structuring for complex data structures.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to understand key problems and implement solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Requirements:

  • Experience with front-end JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, or Svelte.
  • Competence in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6) including async JavaScript.
  • Experience in Liquid and SCSS (or Tailwind/MUI).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to document and report issues.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Shopify developer or relevant skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Shopify development is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify metaobject and metafield structures is advantageous.
