Job Description

The role of an Assistant Manager entails managing and overseeing the collection accounting and tender reconciliation of entities.

Tasks include timely execution of collection accounting, 100% reconciliation of collection tenders with bank receipts, daily bank reconciliation of entities, employee claims and recoveries, and supporting the store sales team for customer receipt confirmation.

The role also involves tracking receivables from Payment Aggregators, designing and implementing Store Collection Accounting processes, and ensuring regular efforts to migrate manual processes to systems and enhancements of system processes for better service delivery.

Required qualifications include a Chartered Accountant Intermediate certification with a Postgraduate degree in Accounting, 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience in the Retail Industry, and experience in team management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct the collection accounting & tender reconciliation of entities
  • Oversee routine retail collection accounting team activities
  • Ensure 100% reconciliation of collection tenders with bank receipts
  • Manage the team to support the store sales team for customer receipt confirmation
  • Track the receivables from Payment Aggregators and follow-ups for any delay
