We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Engineer to lead our team in the water, land and farm sectors.
Job Summary:- Apply engineering technology and agriculture science expertise to resolve issues concerning soil health and sustainable farming practices.
- Conduct site surveys to identify potential sites for watershed development projects.
- Design and cost estimate soil and water conservation measures.
- Develop and implement watershed and climate proofing projects, working closely with local communities and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with government agencies and organizations to obtain necessary approvals and permissions.
- Provide technical assistance and training to local communities and partners on soil conservation, water management and crop cultivation.
- Supervise the construction of structures required for watershed development, such as check dams and contour trenches.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure objectives are met.
- Analyze data related to the project, including soil and water quality, vegetation cover and crop yields.
- Maintain project MIS to track progress and facilitate review by management and stakeholders.
- E nsure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards during project implementation.
- Participate in outreach activities to promote the project and its objectives to the local community and stakeholders.
- Master's degree in Agriculture Engineering or a related field from a reputable institution.
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in water, land and farm sectors.
