Job Description:

A Data Architect plays a pivotal role in designing and developing data management systems, ensuring seamless data flow between various departments. This includes the creation of data warehouses, data lakes, and other repositories to store and manage large datasets.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mandatory - Proficiency in Python and PySpark programming languages, with hands-on experience in Big Data technologies.
  • Built scalable data pipelines using Spark Dataframes in Python.
  • Optimized complex queries to process huge volumes of data, resulting in improved performance and reduced latency.
  • Utilized version control tools like Git for efficient collaboration and code management.
  • Designed and implemented Amazon EMR, Amazon Athena, and AWS Glue services for data processing and analytics.
  • Leveraged Amazon Lambda, EC2, S3, and other cloud services for serverless computing, storage, and content delivery.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, including dimensions, facts, schemas, and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with columnar storage formats, such as Parquet, Avro, and ORC, as well as compression techniques like Snappy and Gzip.
  • Awareness of AWS databases, including Aurora, RDS, Redshift, ElastiCache, and DynamoDB.
