Job Opportunity: Pricing Strategist

Pricing specialists play a vital role in maintaining profitability and competitiveness for businesses. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that align with business objectives and market positioning.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute pricing tactics to drive business growth and enhance market share.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing decisions.
  • Manage global and regional price lists, ensuring accuracy in SAP/CPQ and sales tools.
  • Provide daily pricing support for non-standard requests and customer-specific agreements.
  • Collaborate with product management to develop pricing strategies for new products, accessories, and spare parts.
  • Deliver pricing reports & KPIs (price realization, evolution, margin analysis) to senior leadership.
  • Train stakeholders on pricing processes and concepts.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing management, preferably in the pump industry or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field (Master's is an asset).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SAP (ERP, CPQ, Variant Configurator).
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment.
