Technical Lead - Engineering Platforms

We are seeking a seasoned technical leader to architect and deliver business-critical engineering platforms. This role involves designing, building, and tuning high-performance systems that drive direct impact on our business.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in delivering scalable software solutions using Java 17+, Spring Boot, Kafka, and cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes.

  • Own the architecture and delivery of payment, catalog, logistics, and growth services handling tens of thousands of requests per second
  • Design and build microservices, event pipelines, distributed caches, and cloud-native deployments (Kubernetes on AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Establish coding standards, automate CI/CD, champion observability and SRE practices
  • Lead and mentor a squad of senior engineers; facilitate architecture reviews and hands-on pair design
  • Translate features into business impact: partner with Product & Data teams to optimize conversion, retention, and unit economics

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of production software experience, with 3+ years in a staff or tech-lead capacity
  • Proven success delivering high-scale, low-latency systems in e-commerce, quick commerce, food-tech, fintech, or similar domains
  • Deep expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, SQL/NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, and cloud providers
  • Solid command of Domain-Driven Design, clean architecture, CAP trade-offs, chaos testing, and cost optimization
  • Passion for mentoring and a true 'you build it, you run it' mindset
